Glowing Budweiser Train Mural

This recent mural was commissioned by Locals Bar and Package and sponsored in part by Budweiser. It is inspired by the area it is located, which was a train yard in the early 1900's. The mural looks normal during the day as it collects and stores UV energy from the sun light and uses it to glow miraculously at night. This mural also features a protective "anti-graffiti" coating system which did not impede the glowing effect at all. Seeing this masterpiece glow at night is truly an experience.

The artist, Steve Arflin, uses application techniques inspired from years of indoor glow mural painting for the theme park industry, using AGT™ Fine Glow Sand, mixed with educated experimentation of exterior paints and clear coats and well thought out lighting to bring the glow outside.
